BEVEZETŐ

The proportion of households with unemployed person has increased remarkably in the period between 1990 and 1996, from 3 percent to 10 percent. 86 percent of the families with unemployed person had one unemployed person, and 12 percent had two unemployed persons. Among priváté households with unemployed people, those living in dwellings without comfort, are especially in unfavourable situation. 20 percent of households comprising unemployed persons, belong to this category. Since 1990 the proportion of families having exclusively active earners has decreased, and proportion of families with inactive earners, and with unemployed persons has increased. While in 1990 only 3 percent of the families had unemployed person, up to 1996 this indicator has changed to 13 percent.
