1996. ÉVI MIKROCENZUS A gazdasági aktivitás és a foglalkozási összetétel regionális alakulása magyarországon (2000)

BEVEZETŐ

In the following, we will examine the spatial processes of each region, and within the regions in details by counties and type of locality from a special viewpoint, summarizing the indicators of economic activity, employment, unemployment, occupational relations, occupational structure and daily commuting. The examination will be based on the grossed up result of 1996 year microcensus. The 2 percent sample of the microcensus provides satisfying precise information in regard of the most important parameters by counties and type of locality, both on the level of regions and below. The reference day (1. april 1996.) makes possible to represent the effects of the main social-economic processes since the change of regime. Most of the examined indicators speaks of that we should expect significant differences between the developed areas (mainly West Transdanubia and Central Hungary included the capital) and the underprivileged areas (especially North Hungary and North Great Plain). As well as proved to be important the factor the "hierarchic order" and size of the settlements. We have to notice that the degree/size and main direction of the mentioned spatial differences did not modify during the last three years. For example, at the level of the country the rate of unemployment decreased, but beside the low country-wide mean the differences between the advantaged and disadvantaged regions remained. Thus the essential conclusions given from the data of the microcensus still are valid. 16
