Reading time of a tape: about 6-8 min. Reeling up a tape: about 3-8 min. Reading and interpretation may take place in one direction only. During the interpretation checking also may take place. Printing or reading velocity: 41 700 characters/sec. with a 556 density 15 000 characters/sec. with a 200 density Line printer It prints lines of 160 letters; to each of them one of 64 signals may be printed. The performance depends on the scale-length of the signals; - when using 49 signals belonging to the same range, the performance is 1 360 lines/min. - when using 64 signals: 1 0J00 lines/ min.
