areas were finely polished with graphite powder, which gave a fine matte shine to the silver coating (Fig. 5).

The last step of restoration was replacing the inventory number, which had scaled off from the bottom, in china ink. To protect it, I applied several layers of Paraloid B72 solution of 2% in acetone-toluol mixture (Fig. 6).
