Úti beszámolók - Flesch Bálint: Fotó-műtárgyvédelem : stratégiák és intézményrendszer a jelenkori világban

In the first part of the article I describe the establishment of the independent and complete institution, which proves the emancipation of the photographic works of art. This process, accomplished in Europe in recent 10 years, in North- America years ago, it seems, the recession didn’t stop its development. Maybe the preventive protec­tion of the large scale and instable works of art is more economical than the subsequent restoration, which means a lot of danger and gives uncertain results. I mention evident practices of various museums and other workshops as examples (from Germany, Scandi­navia, Great-Britain, France, Portugal). Of course, the length of my article and its en- ciclopedical nature are working against one another, but I offer it to attract the atten­tion.
