Úti beszámolók - Flesch Bálint: Fotó-műtárgyvédelem : stratégiák és intézményrendszer a jelenkori világban
In the first part of the article I describe the establishment of the independent and complete institution, which proves the emancipation of the photographic works of art. This process, accomplished in Europe in recent 10 years, in North- America years ago, it seems, the recession didn’t stop its development. Maybe the preventive protection of the large scale and instable works of art is more economical than the subsequent restoration, which means a lot of danger and gives uncertain results. I mention evident practices of various museums and other workshops as examples (from Germany, Scandinavia, Great-Britain, France, Portugal). Of course, the length of my article and its en- ciclopedical nature are working against one another, but I offer it to attract the attention.
