Restaurálás - Konzerválás - Majsai Mária: Egy 1984-ben készült postai és távírdai térkép restaurálása
THE RESTORATION OF A POSTAL AND TELEGRAPHIC MAP MADE IN 1894. Abstracts: Postal maps were made even in the economically developed Roman Empire. Author restored a 195 x 137 cm sized map, owned by the Stampmuseum, which was printed and cut on sheets, in 4 parts, with different fibre-coursed papers, in 1894. The seriously damaged, machine-made sheets were on a deformed and altered supporting canvas. After making material-tests I used dry-cleaning, and latér bleaching. With the help of a buffer, a CaCCE layer developed on the sheets so I assembled the postal map, which was put on a new canvas-support after gluing and completion.
