Glattfelder Lucia: A zalaszentmihályfai román kori templom 17. századi kapujának restaurálása és konzerválása
Glattfelder, Lucia Restoration and Conservation of the 17th Century Door of the Romanesque Church of Zalaszentmihályfa The restored door consiste of three parts, but despite of thorough investigations the exact age of the different parts could not be determined. According to experts it is sure that the question is of one of the church doors but its original place is uncertain. The upper layer of the door and at the same time its most decorative part is a framed carved cassette system. On this more adorned side, from below the framing part, a neatly formed lily-tipped strap-hinge fragment came to light. Restored this strap-hinge had not been put back in its original place again, where its accurate synthetic copy was placed. The first step of the restoration was a thorough material testing. On the basis of this were chosen the wood for completion and the agents of treatment. After restoration a great care had to to be taken of further protection of the wood as well. Jahrhundert der romanischen Kirche von Zalaszentmihályfa Das restaurierte Tor besteht aus drei Teilen, aber trotz einer eingehenden Nachforschung konnte man das Alter der verschiedenen Teile nicht bestimmen. Den Sachkennern nach ist es sicher, dass die Rede von einer der Kirchentüren ist, ihr originaler Platz ist aber unbestimmt. Die oberste Schicht und zugleich der geschmückteste Teil des Tores ist ein eingerahmtes, geschnitztes Kassettensystem. Auf dieser verzierten Seite, unter dem einrahmenden Teil ist ein schön bearbeitetes Bandsfragment mit Lilienspitz hervorgekommen. Dieses Band wurde nach der Restaurierung nicht auf seinen originalen Platz zurückgesetzt, dorthin wurde seine genaue Kunststoffkopie hingesetzt. 8 &
