Records of the Local Organs and Pest County Committees of the HWPP/HSWP [MDP/MSZMP Pesti megyei bizottságai és alapszervezetei] Period of 1948-1989; 614,10 linear metres, Hungarian This unit contains the records of Pest county, city, city-rights towns, office and institution as well as large village party committees, further more, the records of local communal party organs, the county training directorates of the party, the newspaper publishing company and the documents of the county Workers' Militia. DEPARTMENT VIII - SECTION X, MICROFILM COLLECTION [MIKROFILMTÁR] Period of llth-20th century, 52.416.634 microfilm frames; Hungarian, Latin, German, (English), (French), (Spanish), (Italian), (Russian), (Turkish), (Slovakian) The Microfilm Collection preserves copies of own records from the National Archives of Hungary, of other Hungarian Archives and collections as well as records relating to the Hungarian history and kept in foreign Archives and collections (Hungarica). This collection has constantly been increasing. The division of the collection is as follows: 1. Microfilms of records kept at the National Archives of Hungary (more than 30 million frames). The records of almost all the sections as well as of the main groups of fonds No. XIX and No. XX are represented in the collection. Hundred per cent of the documents of the Diplomatic Archives has been put on microfilm.
