Archives continually, to complete our source basis, to supply the municipal county records destroyed in World War II. The commissions of popular power and serving special purposes, estab­lished after the liberation, make up an archival group. The material of the National Commissions, Screening Commissions and Land-Claimants Com­missions is important for the political and administrative history of the period for transition between 1945 and 1949. The socialist form of administration, the system of councils left its traces in the Archives. The archival groups of the councils' period (from 1950) contain the records af all sections of the County Council and those of the district, urban and village councils. The bulk of records up to 1956 is in archival custody and the following material is taken over continually. The research room is open from Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. No research on Saturday. A microfilm reader is at disposal for research.
