The centrally published list of archival groups: Az Egri Állami Levéltár fondjainak jegyzéke (Budapest, 1962), that of manuscript maps and that of feudal conscriptions give useful information on the material for everyone. Besides the former director of the repository, Imre SOÓS has published several surveys on the Archives in archival periodicals (on the history of Heves county archives, in Levéltári Közlemények 1942, on the socage (urbarial) and modern commassation records of Heves county, in Levéltári Közlemények 1964, on the records of the nobilitary assemblies of Heves and Exterior Szolnok county, in Levéltári Szemle, 1965.) In 1973 a series named Archivum, Publications of the Heves County Archives, ed. Béla KOVÁCS, was started, having 4 numbers so far. As the first volume of the series Tanulmányok Heves Megye Történetéből (Studies from the History of Heves County) the work of Imre SOÓS: Heves és Külső Szolnok megye 1772-1849. évi rovásadó összeírásai (The Tally Conscriptions of Heves and Exterior Szolnok County from 1772 to 1849) Eger, 1973. has been published. * The research room is open from 8 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.
