sub-fonds can be found on microfilm. If only the contemporary finding aids made by the agency can be found on microfilm the fact of partial microfilming is indicated by a letter S in brackets. In case of archives (e. g. family ad ministerial archives) fond and sub-fonds every data can be found in the relevant column, the data of high record units (sections, management groups) are placed in the middle. No extent and age data are connected to informative titles which may equally mark organic formations (e. g. concerns), or results of artificial, archive grouping (e. g. sectors). The hierarchical level of the different record unites are indicated by typographic methods in this summary of records. Thus e. g. 12 point bold letters are reserved for the fonds, the same size normal letters are reserved for sub-fonds. Data of higher level record units are printed with bigger letters. These were separated from the next archive unit by star, except when their separation is clearly evident. Search on the basis of refence codes is rendered easier by a index of reference codes at the end of each volume. Mainly for volume reasons we had to give up to indicate the titles, too besides reference code and page number. Volumes of summary of fonds and sub-fonds: Volume I: Departments I—III.
