Material examined: Holotype: (1173-HO86): No. 1; one paratype: from the same sample. Holotype deposited in the HNHM, paratype (1173-PO-86) in MHNG. Remarks. The new species is well characterized by the form of its notogaster. It belongs to the multituberculatus species group, standings nearest to H. horrida Mahunka, 1984. However, it is distinguished from the latter by the lack of the polygonal reticulation on the posterior part of the notogaster, by the shape of sensillus (much thinner and longer in hor rida) and by the anterior part of notogaster (much wider in horrida)
