ACANTHOCEPHALA CENTRORHYNCHIDAE Centrorhyncus buteonis (Schrank, 1788) - juvenile form Intermediate hosts: Sorex alpinus and S. araneus. - Localization: liver surface and abdominal cavity. - Intensity: 1-6 specimens. - Date of collection: in S. alpinus, Livov 20-23 April, 1982 (1 case); in S. araneus, Lenartov 10-12 Nov., 1981 (1 case). - Definitive hosts of the species are raptorial birds.
