State of plant species with protection potential of forest ecosystem “Ilacoväfii de Sud Conclusions Studied ecosystem’s flora assessment results indicates the presence of 17 species with limited spread in the Republic of Moldova being under national regional international protection status species, that represents special scientific value. Floristic value of forest ecosystem “Racovätii de Sud” is characterized by a high diversity of rare and common species, where for rare species (Asparagus tenuifolius, Crocus reticulatus, Cystopteris fragilis, Fritillaria montana) the studied ecosystem serves as a new resort. In order to optimize biodiversity conservation in the Republic of Moldova, by harnessing the biotic and abiotic potential of the forest ecosystem “Racoväjii de Sud”, it can be proposed as a protected area taking into account the populations of rare plants and reprezentatív abiotic elements. STAREA SPECULOR DE PLANTE CU POTENTIAL DE PROTECJIE ÍN ECOSISTEMUL FORESTIER „RACOVÁJII DE SUD” (Rezumat) Lucrarea de faja prezintä rezultatele evaluárii florei din ecosistemul „Racoväjii de Sud”, ce denota prezenja a 17 spécii de plante superioare cu ráspándire limitata pe teritoriul Republicii Moldova, ocrotite la nivel najional si/sau international, incluse ín Cartea Rosie a Republicii Moldova (4 spécii), Lista Rosie a Romáméi (3 spécii), Cartea Rosie a Ucrainei (6 spécii) si Anexa a H-а a Convenjiei de la Washington (1973) (2 spécii). Unele dintre ele sunt ínregistrate pentru prima data in ecosistemul cercetat. Astfel, ecosistemul studiat poate servi ca arie de studiu stiinjific in domeniul biodiversitájii si poate fi propus ca arie protejatá. 29
