Mari sia XXXIV-XXXV Tipärituri transilvanice din Biblioteca Veche a Muzeului National al Unirii din Álba lulia j Florin BOGDAN Transilvanice from the Old Library of the National Museum of Union Alba lulia Abstract Many of the public libraries or those of some cultural institutions from Romania hold valuable funds of old book, both Romanian and foreign. A particular category, part of group of old books, directly connected to the Romanian area, especially Transylvania, is that of books printed in this geographical area between 1525 and 1800. Transylvanian printing produced Latin, Hungarian, German, Slav and Romanian printed book (these last ones especially printed with Cyrillic letters, yet exist also exceptions - books printed in Romanian, with Latin letters and Hungarian ortography). This study intends to make known to reader, either specialised or only „fond” of bibliophily, a fund of Transylvanian book held by the National Museum of Unification from Alba lulia, respectively by the Old Library, which is also the first core of the library belonging to the institution from Alba lulia. The printings cover a period between 1736 and 1800, they being the product of some workshops important for the history of Transylvanian printing from localities known for typographical activity carried out there: Cluj, §umuleu-Ciuc, Sibiu, Aiud (Tirgu-Mure§) and Alba lulia. And last but not least our contribution is not only bibliographical, enumerating the copies of Transylvanian book, but also one referring to cultural history, with special emphasis on Alba lulia, many of printings bearing the bookplates of some important cultural institutions that activated in the former capital of Transylvania’s Principality. In ceea ce ne prive§te, in materialul de fatä, interesül nostru se Tndreaptä spre cartea transilvanicä, cartea tipäritä Tn spatiul transilvänean Tn limba latinä, maghiarä sau germanä, Tn intervalul 15251 - anul Tn care a apärut prima tipäriturä din Transilvania la Sibiu, - 1800. De§i aceste tipärituri sunt prezente Tn toate fondurile mentionate, Tn acest stadiu al cercetärii interesül nostru se Tndreaptä cätre transilvanicele din Biblioteca Veche, primul nucleu al bibliotecii Muzeului National al Unirii, fond Tn care se regäsesc un numär de 23 de tipärituri apärute Tn intervalul 1736-1800 Tn centre tipografice precum: Cluj, §umuleu-Ciuc, Sibiu, Aiud, TTrgu-Mure§ §i Alba lulia.
