Conservation measures for saxicole species in Grädistea Muncelului Cioclovina Nature Park

Conclusions

Conservation measures proposed for the studied plant species (endemic, strictly protected, rare, community interest and priority) are:

• Prohibition of collection of this species by tourists, locals, shepherds.

• Prohibition of abandoning waste in characteristic habitats for these species and depositing them in dedicated facilities.

• Prohibition of abusive collection for therapeutic use of saxicole species.

• Prevent animal access to appropriate habitats (Photo 11).

• Awareness for tourists on using only the marked trails, avoiding the formation of adjacent paths, along which the vegetation is destroyed.

• Information for shepherds, local communities and tourists (discussion, leaflets, notices), concerning the importance of saxicole species and the habitat they vegetate (Photo 12).
