Arm positions in Däbäca-Casf/e Area IV. 11.7. Double burials (PL 13: Graves 51-53; PL 36: Grave 35.A-B; PL 44.B: Graves 16-17; PL 51: Graves 7-8, 25-26) Double burials were known throughout the early Middle Ages, but it was not a common practice. For burying married couples together, Szabolcs Szuromi cites the Canon Law which was in effect until 1230.105 In the cemeteries investigated by us there are some cases when two adults must have been buried at the same time such as Däbäca-Castle Area IV: Graves 210-21 l.A, 278/281, Graves 327-328, Moresti: Graves 16-17/1954 and Sirioara: Graves 7-8, 25-26. The case of Graves 51-53 from Cl\i)-Mänästur is more interesting, because in this case each of the three skeletons belonged to adults. Unfortunately, the skeletons have not been registered, although a DNA analysis on them surely could cast light on certain sociological phenomena issues. 105 Szuromi 2002,103-105.
