Biserica de lemn din Iclänzel - Mädäräseni

The church has a rectangular shape, with a polygonal recessed apse on five sides, which form at their junction spot with the beams beautiful, finely carved wing-like corbels; the whole is merked by a rope like belt.

In the sixth decade of the 20th century this monument was relocated to Mädäräseni, a suburb of Iclänzel, because a new brick church was placed nearby. On that occasion the windows were turned to their much shorter rectangular shape; at the same time an open passage was created in the bell-tower.
