Zoology
Florentina TOGÄNEL biotopes which have lush xerophile vegetation. They are phytophagous heteropterans with a large spectrum of host plants, but in our region they do not cause damage to plants grown. According to The List of Romania's fauna published in 2007 by the Institute of Speleology “Emil Racovitä”, in our country are over 1,100 known species of Heteroptera. Materials and metods The present paper summarizes the coreoid bugs collection acquired in 1998 by Tárgu- Mure§ Natural Sciences Museum from the well known entomologist Kis Bela. The collection refers to 271 coreoid specimens. The specimens were collected and assigned by Bela Kis during 30 years of study of Romanian Heteroptera biodiversity. All this material is mounted on entomological pins and well preserved. The biological material is labeled in alphabetical order. The work presents for each species of the collection the number of individuals, the sampling area, the date of samplings and their geographical spreading. The collecting sites are listed alphabetically. The nomenclature of the coreoid species is according to Fauna Europaea's online database (Aukema 2olo). Results and discussions Coreoids bugs belonging to “Bela Kis” collection preserved in the Natural Science Museum of Targu-Mure§ include 271 specimens that coming from 53 collection points in different parts of the country. Material pertaining to 40 species (72,71% of the entire amount of coreoidea in Romania), 25 genera and 4 families: Alydidae, Coreidae, Rhopalidae and Stenocephalidae. The paper complete the coreids distribution map in Romania. The Rhopalidae family is represented in the collection by the largest number of genera (9) and by the most numerous species (19). The Coreidae family is represented by 15 species belonging to 11 genera. The Alydidae and Stenocephalidae families are represented by 3 species. The collection includes all the species of Alydidae (3 species), 95% of Rhopalidae species, 75% of Stenocephalidae species and 51.72% of Coreidae species reported until now in our country’s fauna. The species: Megalotomus junceus (Scopoli 1763), Arenocoris fallenii (Schilling 1829), Ceraleptus lividus (Stein 1858), Phyllomorpha laciniata (Villers 1789), Agrapbopus lethierryi Stal 1872, Cborosorna gracile Josifov 1968, Leptoceraea vitidis Jakovlev 1873, Maccevethus errans caucasicus (Kolenati 1845), Stictopleurus pictus (Fieber 1861), Stictopleurus subtomentosus Rey 1888 and Dicranocephalus medius (Mulsant & Rey 1870) are rare in our country’s fauna.
