106 N. Man 2. Bronze statuette representing the nude goddess Venus, with her left hand hiding her basin, and the right hand is stretched in front. Her hair is long, separated in the middle, falling on the shoulders in two strands, pinned at the back into a small bun, and she is wearing a tiara on her head. The statuette is quite neatly executed, characteristic for the Antoninian period, but some details remember the superfici­ality of the 3rd century; PL 6/8. Dim: H = 13 cm, 1 = 4.2 cm; DP: Mure? County; Dd: NHMT; inv. IV, 1908; Pop 1980, 699-700; Dating: the second half of the 2nd century. 3. The statuette has the right forearm, left foot and lower part of cornucopia broken. The divinity wears a long chiton with vertical folds, on the right shoulder the chiton is hooked by a fibula. She is wearing a tiara on her head. In the left hand, the goddess holds a cornucopia and in the right hand (witch is broken) holds a patera or the helm; PI. 6/9. Dim: H = 6.8 cm, 1 = 2.9 cm; DP: Mure? County; Dd: NHMT; inv.
