Pottery Analysis The purpose of the present article is to study the ceramic material from Chinari “Mociar”. The majority of the archaeological material consists of pottery, out of which we analyzed the well-defined forms and the fragments with characteristic decorations, approximately 25% of the total number of fragments. In the description of the pottery we took into consideration the vessels part (lip or rim, neck, upper, middle or lower part of the body, bottom or base), forms of vessels (“bag-shaped”, bitronconic and globular vessels, shallow and deep bowls, mugs), pottery category (fine, semi fine, coarse), outside and inside surface treatment (good, medium, poor smoothing, polished), the temper used (fine sand, gravel, crushed sherd), outside and inside colour which shows the outside and inside firing (oxidant or
