The exhibits about 200 samples, which belong to 81 families of 508 specie^ originated in the collection of dr. Sorin Lucian Puia. Systematically arranged all the samples were labeled by their Latin names and there was a coloured spot indicating the geographical area the samples came from. All the stuff were exhibited in windows, on stands of different sizes, covered by diverse coloured and thick silk. Because of their interesting shapes but mostly of their huge size, they could recognise Gastropods species of the following families: Strombidae (Strombus (figas, Strombus goliath, Lambis chiragra, Lambis lambis), Tonnidae (Tonna galeea), Cassidae (Cassis cornuta, Cassis madagascariensis), Cymatidae (Charonia tritonis), Mellongenidae (Syrinx arruanus, Hemifusus collosseum), Volutidae (Cymbium glans). Among the giant Bivalves, visitors could admire species as: Tridacna gigas, T.maxima, Hippopus hippopus (Tridacnidae), Pinna nobilis, P.rudis (Pinidae), Pinctada magna (Pteriidae), Chlamis townsendi (Pectenidae), Plagiocardium pseudolima (Cardiidae). Rare species of Molluscs were displayed in a central window: Guildfordia triumphans (Turbinidae), Epitonium scalare (Epitoniidae), Cypraea aurentium (Cypraeidae), Cymatium femorale (Cymatidae), Syratus alabaster, Homalocantha zamboi (Muricidae), Cymbiola deshayesi (Volutidae), Conus geographus, C. gloriam aris, C.abreviatus (Conidae), Spondylus princeps (Spondylidae), Lopha cristagalii (Ostreidae), Chama lazarus (Chamidae).
