MORFOLÓGIA FITOINDIVIZILOR POPULATIEI DE NARCISE 13 MORPHOLOGICAL RESEARCHES ABOUT DAFFODILS POPULATION FROM DUMBRAVA VADULUI (DISTR. BRA§OV) Abstract The natural reservation Dumbrava Vadului is the biggest area with daffodils from Romania (394,9 ha). Here bloom in May-June tens millions daffodils (Narcissus angustifolius Curt. Syn. N. stellaris Haw., N. radiiflorus Auct. Non Salisb.). In our study we analyzed the height and form of scape, number, length and breadth of leaves, length of spathe and perigonal tube, diameter of flower, color, number, length, breadth, superposition and form of tepals (perianth-segments), diameter, height and form of corona, position of stamens and style, number of flowers/scape, form of fruit and relation from the length of leaves and height of scape. In the paper are presented amplitude of variation, the classes with maximum • frequency and extreme values. The researches werw undertaken in May and June 1997 on the 250 plants (exemplars). In the final of paper the authors make some remarks concerning the characteristics of daffodils population from Dumbrava Vadului and distinctions comparative with Narcissus poeticus L. The information furnished can be utilized in the comparative study with another daffodils population from Romania and Europe.
