THE OLD ROMANIAN BOOK ON THE BEICA VALLEY (Summary) The Beica Valley - a gorgeous Romanian place - in Mures distric, contains 11 villages in a bucolic landscape, taken out from our people's childhood memories, which has written on pages turned in yellow, the old Romanian book, notes of a well preserved spiritual purity, notes on Romanian language, concerning the historical, cultural, economical, natural events, faiths and customs. The 120 old Romanian books - printed in Iasi, Rőmnic, Bucuresti, Blaj's printing houses are circulating after a long way between different churches on the Beica Valley with the help of the priests, who have cultivated the idea of language and nation's unity. The notes represents one real chronic of the people's life on these territories, confronting the hostility of times, who are permiting a careful study of the past centuries, a precious page on local history in our Romanian nation's history.
