ROMANIAN MONUMENTS OF POPULAR ARCHITECTURE FROM THE CENTRAL ZONE OF THE TRANSILVANIA

(Summary)

A series of monuments from the central part of Transylvania are presented in this study according to the criteria included in the plan, forming separate groups according to form — resemblences. At the same time the hystory, the planimetrical organisation, the closing system of innerarea of the edifices are stressed. The presentation of each typological group is followed by an analisis joined by a typological rangement in connection with the conclusions of other researches and that of the author himself. The corelation of the monuments with the artistic treasures of the other Romanian countries, that is Moldova and Muntenia is also pointed out.
