Gooö-B^e The past summer the congregation of the Calvin Reformed Church in Norwalk gathered with invited guests for a dinner. It was a special occasion, they were saying goodbye to there pastor. Reverend Leslie Martin spent a few years at this church, originally known as the Hungarian Reformed Church. With the Hungarian service he was supported by Rev. Ildikó Fodor. Rev. Martin was a very dynamic person and really had an insite and experience about the world around us. Getting to the pulpit the road lead through several other stations. I would like to bring out his musical talent. Whenever he showed up at a social gathering, I always tried to talk him into getting hold of a guitar and sing to the audience. No professional could had done better. We really are not loosing him because he was chosen to be Development Director of the American Hungarian Foundation in New Brunswick. We wish him and his wife Linda good luck and success. Reverend Martin and his wife Linda hold the cake that the ladies of the church specially baked for the occasion. It reads: “Good luck & May God Bless You Both ’’ Above: The masters of the good Hungarian cooking all lined up ready to serve the delicious dinner. Below: The lucky ones are joining in line. Among the many farewells during the dinner the Chief Elder said thanks for the services over the years and gave Rev. something special to keep and remember the church. T At the headtable Rev.Bela Poznan, pastor of the Calvin Church in Fairfield, thanks Rev. Martin for his service and wishes him and his wife Linda the best for the future
