The Zoltán Zorándy Orchestra, in its customary fashion, provided a polished sound and highly entertaining music for dancing and listening pleasure. The silent auction was very successful and protitable this year. The "bidding wars" for the paintings, porcelain figures and folk art products were exciting to observe and participate in. Auctioned tickets for entertainment and cultural events were very popular, while donated dinners at well-known restaurants were much sought-after. The Gala Dinner Dance presented by the Hungarian Cultural Society of Connecticut (HCSC) proved to be an unqualitied success indeed.
