Karácsony szent ünnepére készülve legyen részünk az igazi örömben azzal a biztos ismerettel hogy jó Istenünk népes nagy világa iránti szeretetéből megváltói védelmére ajándékozta fiát Jézus Krisztust és kicsiny Bethlehemben földre szállt az ég Királya ! “szeretet és igazság jön vele, kezében a szabadság fegyvere, nyissatok hát előtte szívet, ti megváltott hívek, hogy boldogságban örvendjetek”. Csodálatosan, mint régen az első karácsonykor úgy a mi időnkben is ha bízunk Istenben életünk megváltó Urában, akkor 2004 karácsonyán bethlehemi csillag fénye ragyog életünk egén és elvezet a templomba Jézushoz. Boldogan megyünk. Tisztességet teszünk. A legdrágább kincsünket adjuk: a dobogó szívünket, hogy örömteljes békességet sugárzó boldog életünk legyen. Szeretett Testvérem ! „ Ne aggodalmaskodjál, nézz Istenedre fel! Ő felruház és táplál, rád gondot ő visel. Dicső Király, ég és a föld Ura! Szívünk tiéd, légy annak is Ura!” Kívánunk örömteljes karácsonyi ünnepet és eredményekben bővőlködő békés újesztendőt. „Karácsony ünnepén, kegyes keresztyének, zengjen, zengedezzen örvendező ének ! Andor Demeter, Bishop HOLIDAY GREETINGS To the Churches, Church Councils, Ministers and Chief Elders of the Hungarian Reformed Church in America Dear Brethren, With the Christmas Holiday and the closing of 2004 upon us, we greet the members of the Hungarian Reformed Church in America, knowing that: ’’There is therfore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit ... For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God ... And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God ... Romans 8:1,14,28. We can confess our conviction that we live under the Holy Spirit’s protectings. It gives us an opportunity to work together in our ministry. We extend blessed Cristmas wishes to all of you and wish you a prosperous New Year. Enclose in your hearts God’s word and it will make your lives beautiful and sacred. We are grateful for our congregation’s past, and we are strengthened by the hope that our Lord will continue to give us guidance in the future. We acknowledge with gratitude to God the work of the Church, and we should be joyous that our congregation has had a fruitful year.
