All church organizations are resuming a full working schedule in September. The Junior Women’s Guild is planning a Fashion Show for September 15. The Church Council is working on several building projects; among them are covering the church doors with metal, reconstruction of the church’s heating system, painting the inside of the church and of Bethlen Hall. Several church members are actively working for the New Jersey Hungarian Festival to be held September 13 at the Garden State Art Center; a number of them are members of the Kodály Chorus; and scores of our people will be at the Festival. Fifteen of our young people had planned to go to the BYF Conference but, in fact, only two went. Work schedules and college dates have prevented the rest from going. It seems the date of the conference should be changed. The chairlady of the Village Committee was Mrs. Margaret Pank; vice-chairman, Mr. Julius Bakos. The total income was well over $6,000.00. It seems that everything started to bloom around the church just like flowers in springtime. During the long summer months, when our people spent their longawaited vacations our churches looked empty. Our pastor also attended the 36th
