16 MAGYAR EGYHÁZ pated in the liturgy of our worship service. The same day, in the afternoon, we held our annual Memorial Service in our cemetery with grave-stone dedications. On Pentecost Sunday 125 members of the congregation attended communion. This number includes the sick and shutins, who received communion at home. Our congregation will participate in the local Key ’73 drive, distributing Bibles and canvassing the community. McKeesport, pa. On Pentecost Sunday the attendance was better than average. Holy Communion was administered at both worship services. The following young people were confirmed on June 3: Julius M. Bakos, Bennett S. Berkowitz, Don L. Caiarelli, Patricia L. Craven, Lori A. Jordanhazy, Mark S. Jordanhazy, Drew D. Pogyor, Christine E. Szarka, Penny Ukasik. They participated in their first Holy Communion on Pentecost Sunday. New member: Mr. James Kling joined our church. We welcome him into our Church Family. Baptism: On May 13, Jason Matthew Kling received the sacrament of holy baptism. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Kling. Godparents are Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Phillipsie. May God’s blessings be upon them. Activities: Our Mother’s Day Dinner turned out well. The food was prepared by our men. The Garage Sale and the Calendar Party and Fashion Show of the Women’s Guild were successful. The ladies donated $500 to our Building Fund. Our Guild also participated in the Good Neighbor Day of our city. Our congratulations to the following young people: Lynne Serfozo, Allen Jordanhazy, Sanyika Meszar, college graduates and Steven Balogh, Nancy Chomos, Bruce Jordanhazy, Cindy Serfoz, David Sheedy and Kenneth Vozar, high school graduates. The Very Rev. Tibor Dömötör was our guest minister on May 27. He preached at the combined worship service and conducted the congregational meeting. PERTH AMBOY, N. J. The Vacation Bible School this year, was under the supervision of Mrs. Lillian Banyacski. Thanks to the teachers and parents who helped to make it successful. Vacation Bible School was held from June 25 to July 6th. The Womens’ Guild had a very successful “Chinese Auction” and “Rummage Sale”. Mrs. Betty Larsen and Mrs. Margaret Molnár, respectively, were in charge of the affairs. The May Dance Chairman was Mrs. Helen Bercik. A fine dinner was arranged on Father’s Day, June 17th, to mark the occasion of the completion of the airconditioning system recently installed in our school auditorium. Also, at this time, Mr. John Marincsak was honored for his 11 years of service as Chief - Elder. A special gift was presented to him by the church. The 70th anniversary committee is already at work making preparations for the proper observance on November 18. Please, keep this date open on your calendar. Júliusi nagy zenés piknikünk előkészítése teljes erővel folyik. A piknik napja július 22, vasárnap, színhelye a barbertoni Szent Miklós Park, 1051 Robinson Avenue. A piknik déli 12 órakor kezdődik és este 10 óráig tart. Délután 4 és 10 óra között a hires Szittyái tánczenekar muzsikál és a clevelandi Magyar Színház táncosai táncolnak. Temetések: Május 21-én temettük el egyházunk alapitó tagját Kun József né testvérünket 78 éves korában. Hűséges testvérünk emlékére a Kun család 1,000 dollárt adományozott épülő Lorántffy Otthonunkra. Június 4-én temettük el Balogh Zoltán testvérünket, aki 51 évet élt ezen a földön. Az Úristen vigasztalja a gyászolókat és áldja meg drága halottaink emlékezetét. Adler Simon és neje 2 hetet töltött a Szentföldön. Gazdag élményekkel jöttek vissza közénk.
