MAGYAR EGYHÁZ 15 in it the goodness of God toward us, and our duties are: a. to respect and pray for the civil government, b. to obey all its good and just laws, to pay taxes and all our obligations, willingly, c. to be willing to give even our lives, in the name of God, bravely, if the government is forced to wage a war for the welfare of its people. 6. Whom do we condemn? We condemn all those who despise the civil government; the enemies of the country; the anarchists, and in general, all those who evade their duties and obligations either openly or secretly. We beseech God, our gracious heavenly Father to bestow his blessings upon the leaders of all people, also upon us and the whole mankind through our only Savior the Lord Jesus Christ to whom be praise, glory and thanksgiving for ever and ever. Amen. (The end of the Second Helvetic Confession) Stephen Kovács TWELFTH ANNUAL CONFERENCE Church Women United Hungarian Reformed Church In America Eastern Area DATE: Sunday, May 2, 1971 — 1:30 P.M.
