16 MAGYAR EGYHÁZ PERTH AMBOY, N. J. Our church’s 65th anniversary was held on Sunday, November 17th; worship services and the banquet were attended by many members and friends. On Thanksgiving Day, November 28th, there will be a special service at 9 A.M. Sunday, December 1st, Holy Communion at both services: 9:00 A.M. English and 10:30 A.M. Hungarian. The annual Christmas bazaar of our Women’s Guild is scheduled for Sunday, December 1st, from 12 noon: everyone welcome! Meeting and Christmas social of the Sr. Women’s Club will be held on Sunday, December 8th, at 2:00 P.M. in their club room. The air-conditioning of the church finally reached the point, when the officers signed the contract for its installation. Donations for this fund will be appreciated! The estimates for a Sunday School chapel are coming in slowly; originally it was meant to be completed in 1968 for the 10th anniversary of the building of the center, and the 65th anniversary of the church. Construction will start in the near future. In memory of the late Mrs. Frank Balog, who was secretary of the Sr. Women’s Club for many years, $500 donation was given to the Organ Fund, and $500 to the Chapel Fund. May her memory be an inspiration to those who loved her. ROEBLING, N. J. On World Wide Holy Communion Sunday the worship services were well attended. Eightyfive percent of the congregation lived with the elements of the Lord’s Supper. The holy elements were donated by Mrs. Sándor Boldizsár and Mrs. Betty Mayberry in memory of the late Sándor Boldizsár. Newly elected officers of the Youth Fellowship are: Kathleen Bartha president, Robert Gilanyi vice-president, Michelle Varga secretary (407 E. 4tli Street, Florence, New Jersey 08518) and Joyce Takach treasurer. We wish to thank our members for their generous donations toward our bazaar and all those faithful members of our church who gave their time, talent and service to make our bazaar a huge success. What would our church do without the good members of our church who are always willing to work so faithfullv to promote the program of our church! God bless them! STATEN ISLAND, N. Y. New Wine — Thanksgiving Communion will be observed on November 17. The Annual Bazaar netted a record $1,460 which shows the generosity of our church members, friends and patrons and gives high credit to the untiring workers. The Church Council sent out a letter to all members and patrons asking to support a repair and renovation program of the church buildings. In the course of the fund raising campaign the council members will visit all families of the church. Október 13-án, 122 testvérünk járult az úrasztalához emlékezve az új borra és az életünket megújító isteni áldozatra. Október 19-én eskettük meg Wells Danny Lee testvérünket és Balogh Bettyannt. Az esküvőn 300 személy jelent meg templomunkban. Október 20-án egyházunk nagytermében tartotta meg az akroni magyarság az 1956-os szabadságharcra való emlékezését. Az ünnepélyen lelkészünk felolvasta Tompa Mihály halálának 100-ik évfordulójára írt nagyhatású versét. Október 20-án megkereszteltük Adler Alexis Susant. Október 26-án Halloween-partyt rendeztünk a gyülekezet gyermekeinek. Október végén újra megkezdtük a magyar nyelvtanítást. Temetése általános részvét mellett történt meg október 17-én. Október 20-án, vasárnap új bor alkalmából való úrvacsoraosztás volt.
