An outing to see the Thoroughly Modern Millie movie was attended by the husbands also. In lieu of the annual picnic members of the Ladies Aid decided to make “kolbász.” The Young Adult Club dance, Melodies in Gold, was a huge success, the hall was beautifully decorated, the food was excellent and everyone looked elegant in their formals. “More of these dances” was the unanimous feeling of all who attended. The Zolten Ambrus family hosted the Junior Youth Fellowship at a “pool party” in their back yard . . . no one wanted to go home. With summer here, the schedules are the same with English at 9:45 and Hungarian services at 10:45. We are still going strong on our coffee after services, it has proved so successful that no one wants to give it up even for the hot summer months. This is an opportunity for everyone to meet and make plans for the coming week. It has given our church a more friendly atmosphere and has been a source of encouragement for others to join in the regular church activities.
