The Sunday School Rally Day will be held for the parents and children on September 25 at the church. CARTERET, N. J. One hundred-thirty members partook of the elements at the New Bread Communion service on July 31.A low figure, indeed, in proportion to the congregation’s membership. Members seem to be satisfied with the opportunities at Easter and Christmas. Some say “It has always been like this.” However, only good traditions should be kept. . . The fortnightly Bible Study Group will resume its meetings on Tuesday, September 13. Baptism: Steven Mark, son of Stephen Mako Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth Kovács; godparents: Ernest Sisko and Mrs. Marilyn Kovács. Wedding: William Charles Smith and Mildred Margret Hallahan. DETROIT, MICH. Unforseeable circumstances have prohibited Mrs. Anne Pital from continuing as the Christian Youth Fellowship’s sponsor. We the members of the C.Y.F., as well as the entire Hungarian Reformed Church of Detroit, wish to thank Mrs. Pital for her guidance and perserverance which have enabled us to build a firm foundation for our Fellowship. The C.Y.F. would like to extend their condolences to Kenneth and Edith Balog, and Mrs. Andrew Balog for the death of their father, and husband, Mr. Andrew David Balog. DUQUESNE, PA. We will resume our regular Sunday schedule on September 11, which will be as follows: 9:45 A.M. Hungarian Service and at the same time Sunday School (Rally Day), at 11 A.M. Worship Service in English and Pre-School Department of our Sunday School. At 6:30 P.M. Junior Youth and at 8 P.M. Senior Youth Fellowship. Communion Service during autumn: October 2 — World Wide Communion, November 20 — Thanksgiving Communion. November 6 is the date of our Golden Jubilee celebration, a more detailed announcement will be published in our next issue. PERTH AMBOY, N. J. The National Youth Conference this year will be held in our Church on September 3, 4, and 5, Labor Day weekend. Young people are urged to attend. Our organ was repaired during August. This was a much needed work demanding the attention of our members. Help the organ fund, smaller or greater donations will be appreciated. The organizations of the church will start their regular functions from September. Fashion Show will be sponsored by the Women’s Guild on September 20th. Bible School every Saturday starting September 10th. Sunday School every Sunday from 9 to 10 A.M. ROEBLING, N. J. The service with Holy Communion for New Bread on August 7th was very well attended by both congregations. During the summer the ceiling of the parsonage was repaired, all the rooms newly papered and redecorated by the generosity of the Lorántffy Zsuzsámra Women’s Aid Society. The Young Women’s Guild sponsored the annual outing of the Sunday School to Clementon Park, N.J., on August 2nd. Many children, parents and their friends enjoyed this traditional excursion. Telefon: FAcuIty 2-8686 A new yorki két független gyülekezet egyesülése augusztus l.-ével megtörtént. A két lelkipásztor vezetésével egyelőre a 83-ik utcai ideiglenes templomban, ősztől kezdve pedig majd az uj templomban folytatja szolgálatát az egyesült gyülekezet. Évi piknikünk sikere augusztus 7.-én minden várakozást felülmúlt. A piknik tiszta jövedelme és az adományok összege több, mint ezer dollárral gyarapitotta templomépitő gyülekezetünk pénztárát. Következő és szezonzáró piknikünk szeptember 4.-én lesz az astoriai Bohemian Park-ban. Uj templomunk belső vakolása folyik ezekben a hetekben. A templomszentelés október második felében lesz. Időpontját rövidesen közölni fogjuk. Adományainkkal, kölcsönök nyújtásával segitsük elő az építkezés gyors befejezését. Házasságkötés: Zámbory Géza ujamerikás mérnök és Gyulai Blanka házasságát augusztus 6.-án áldotta meg a lelkipásztor Albany-ban. Maróti A. Lajos és Imreh László voltak a tanúik. CARTERET, N. J.
