) ( BULLETIN OP INTERNATIONAL LITERATURE ON THE PLANNING, MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATION OP SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH PERIODICAL PUBLISHED BY THE HUNGÁRIÁN ACADEMY OP SCIENCES One of the primary tasks of the Hungárián Academy of Sciences as the leading scientific organ of our country is to organize theoretical and experimentál basic research in Hungary, to direct research of fundamental importanoe in applied soiences, and to take part in the central direction and co-ordination of scientific investigations throughout the country. Thie has prompted the Präsidium of the Academy to put the Academy Library in oharge of the compilation of the international literature on the planning,management and Organization of scientific research, of creating an organ for the documentation of the vast and rapidly growing relevant matériel - almost oonstituting a discipline by itself, - and to entrust the Academy Library with the publication of this Bulletin ensuring six times a year the regulär documentation of the international State of the planning, management and organisation of scientific research, - in the form of reviews, excerpts, statistics, bibliographies etc. In conformity with this task, the Library of the Hungárián Academy of Sciences has Btarted this new perlodical, the first double issue of which, published recently, is herewith presented to the Reader. Since our Bulletin is published in Hungárián, the translation of the Contents will invariably be enclosed for the benefit of Readers abroad. Besides, the titles of the works used as sources in our documentation are given also in the original language. Ve sinoerely hope that by this publication will shall be able to promo te the advancement of international scientific co-operation.
