BEYAZÎ-ZADE was son of the scholar Bosnalı Hasan Beyazî Efendi (d. 1653). He had a good education and became professor and cadi in different provinces: 1675 cadi of Istanbul; 1683 Rumeli kazaskeri ( kazasker of Rumelıa). He wrote several risale s on law. A book entitled Sevaninü'l­ulûm brings together his conversations. BEYAZÎ-ZADE was also a good calligrapher. One copy is among the Lâla İsmail Efendi Collection (N° 93) of the Stileymaniye Library. According to 10b, the risale was copied in Şevval 1157/November 1744 (10b). Marginal notes with explanations and additions are on some pages. The text is preceded by a risale entitled Aruz ve's-sukuk (lb-10b). Literature: OM 1.258; TA 6.282; TDVİA 6.55.
