Mesnevi of Y AHYA B EY (d. 990/1582), who is known in Turkish literature as TAŞLıCALı Y AHYA <see N° 143>. Giilşen-i envar is the last book of Y AHYA BEY'S Hamse. It was written in 1551. The religious and didactic mesnevi is divided into four chapters and contains seven mertebe s. After three tevhids, three münacats and three na 'ts, it begins with the praise of Kanunî Sultan Süleyman (1520-1566); the degrees of the saints are characterized in the seven mertebe s. The heading of the manuscript of this Mesnevi says Kitab-ı Gülşen-i envar. At the end of the manuscript there is a prayer.
