The scribe was Sumati Ánanda (=Blo-bzang-kundga'). It was written by Thu'u-bkvan Blobzang-chos-kyi-nyi-ma (1737-1802) at Sku-'bum-byams-pa-gling with Ngag-dbang-bstan'phel as scribe. According to the tradition this ritual was first used by the yogi Se-ston when Sna-phu Chos-lung-pa was attacked by a rgyal-po spirit.
