Mong. 6 The Vowels and the Consonants Peking blockprint, PLB no. 101, 18th century pothi, 7 ff. of 55 :1 1.2 ([2a] 47.5 : 7.2, [2b] 46.7 : 7.3) cm, two bands of Sanskrit, Tibetan, and Mongolian parallel texts per side; Mongolian in short vertical lines under the horizontal Tibetan line. Pagination on the recto in Sanskrit., Tibetan, Chinese and Mongolian in the left "ear" of the frame; on the verso, in the left "ear" beyond the double-lined frame, pagination in Chinese only. (On recto sides the "ear" is separated from the text space by a triple, thin-bold-thin, rule. Black print on Chinese laid paper of several layers, now greyish and fragile.)
