The prince wrote a letter to the great Lama in the 8th month of the year 1459, in Nam-rin, in which he asked the Lama to resolve his doubts, for he had found that the 12 virtues, discussed in the Mnon-rtogsrgyan and in its commentary written by Sen-ge bzan-po (Haribhadra ), seemed to be in conflict with what was described by the three great works
