The third category (Synoptic Table C) pertains to "periodicals", while the fourth (Synoptic Table D) comprises "information services" (including li­braries, data banks, documentation agencies) in the field of economics. The typology of the information research sources may be drawn up according to various principles. For example, the systematization of the research apparatus is car­ried out mainly in accordance with the "territorial principle ". Thus we may speak of international, international regional, national research institutions and or regional with­in a certain country. The grouping by international and national research organizations may have a double meaning or interpretation.
