Apor, Eve: The Persian Manuscripts of the Vámbéry-Bequest (A MTAK kiadványai 62. Budapest, 1971)

On 15th September 1913 Ármin Vámbéry, an eminent personality of Hungárián oric ntalistics, corresponding member of the Hungárián Aca­demy of Sciences died. After his death, his son, Rusztem Vámbéry gave his father's bequest to the Academy Library in 1914, and in this way eleven Persian manuscripts came into the possession of the Library, together with two Arabic and 43 Turkish ones.
