It was wrltten In Sultan Hoseyn's reign (1438-1J06) in Herat. An earlier copy of the dictionary ( A.H.1117/A.D.1705-6) was published by Borovkov (Tali c TmanT, "Bada'i al-lugat". [Ed. by] A.K.Borovkov. Moskva 1961.) The lntroduction is about the same as the Borcrvkov's one, but the numbers relating to Navöl's verses are missing, the dictionary contains only the verses themselves. Pers.
