According to the dating of the paper of the third fascicule, the Codex must have come into di Finale's possession around (or probably after) 1356, from whom strangers, the Venetians, obtained it, despite all the threats of plague. How and when did this happen? The Codex Cumanieus has not yet unveiled all its secrets . . .
