The correctness of the reconstruction depends on the correctness of observations made during excavation. The recurrent value of -1.7199017 % indicating the difference between actual and ideal measurements, probably means that those observations are usually quite precise, but due to the fact that archaeologists publish their measurements is metric system, and sometimes they round off fractions, such a difference may occur. 18 We know similar data, containing the 11 as multiplier from elsewhere too, mainly from burgi of the Late Roman limes along the Rhine and Danube, built under the reign of Valentinian I: Site digiti Site 8x11=88 10x11=110 11 2 =121 8 2 xl 1=704 80x11=880 Köln, City Wall 19 thickness of wall Engers 2U wall and ditch distance Zullestein 21 thickness of wall Mannheim -Neckarau 22 thickness of wall Zeiselmauer 23 width of gate distance of timber framework from threshold DunabogdányKőszegtő 24 length of wall
