Late Lengyel features. The life on the settlement started, beyond doubt, on this (Northern) part. The lithic material comprised 291 items. The most abundant features, in respect of stone implements, were pits nr. 103. and 216. Stone tool production was an important but not specialised activity on the site with the exception of the production of grinding stones that can be found in overly large quantities on this part of the settlement. The types and raw material of the stone tools fit well into Late Neolithic (Lengyel) context of the Central Transdanubian area. The most important raw materials originate from the Bakony Mts. and the Balaton Highland. Long distance elements comprise a surprisingly significant amount of obsidian (12 pieces, more than 4%). Other long distance elements encountered are various metamorphic rocks occurring among the polished stone tools. 40
