ANNOUNCEMENT OF A COMPETITION 7th International Biennial of Miniature Textiles - Szombathely 1988. Savaria Museum of Szombathely and the Association of Hungarian Fine and Applied Artists will organize the 7th International Biennial of Miniature Textiles in 1988. The aim of the exhibition is to provide a wide introduction of the miniature textile art, therefore we are looking forward to your entry. The Biennial is to take place between 24.4. and 28.8. in 1988 in The Gallery of Szombathely (address: Szombathely, Rákóczi Ferenc street 12. - 9700).- We accept only individual entries for the biennial.- There is no entry fee; the artists will be in charge of the delivery and insurance. The Museum will cover the costs of returning, however it cannot afford to cover the insurance costs.- Each artist may compete with two pieces not exceeding the size 200x200x200 mm.- We ask you to send back the filled-in entry form to our address till 1.1.1988. Our address is: SAVARIA MUSEUM Szombathely Kisfaludy S. u. 9. 9700- Please enclose the followings to the entry form: one coloured diapositive of each one black-and-white photo of each, 90x120 mm, suitable for printing.- On the basis of the photoes and the diapositives the international jury will select the works to be sent to the exhibition and the Museum will inform every entrant about the result till 1.4.1988.- The selected works must arrive at our address till 15.5.1988.
