Zalaegerszeg, Göcsej-Museum Inv. Nr. 52.41.2. It is the fourth part of a formerly angular, quadrate-shaped figurine. It is fragmented into four parts by its horizontal and vertical axes. The remaining lower body was formed from a rectangular clay column. From the front the figurine is flat, its legs are represented by only a small depression above its feet. From behind its waist is'straight and below its bottom protrudes. The edges of the legs are subdued. The whole body of the figurine is decorated. Even its sole is decorated with incised lines that may represent the toes. In some cases within the incised lines remains of a white inlay is recognisable. The decoration represents a woman's clothing. The basic motifs are a bunch of lines made of 3-5 incised lines from which streaked triangles were formed. The streaking shows opposing patterns within the triangles. Within the decorative pattern from the side lines, parallel "barbed wire" lines were fashioned. This figurine is the most representative Furchenstich figurine in Hungary. Height: 12,8 cm, width at its waist: 3,6 cm. Originally the figurine was probably twice as high as it is in its present broken form. Zalaegerszeg, Göcseji Museum InvNo. 52.41.2. IRODALOM - LITERATUR - REFERENCE Horváth László András - H.
