Silvanoprus fagi (Guérin-Ménéville, 1844) — Felsőmarác: Himfai­parkerdő, 03.05.1986, PA (1, SM); Szoce [7], 15.11.1961, E-YS-KZ (1, HNHM). — It is a rare species of old deciduous forests. HORVATOVICH (1980: 40) men­tioned it from Szakonyfalu. Other Hungarian localities are (Fig. 7.): Eger (DU50); Feketeerdő (XP71); Mosonmagyaróvár (XP60); Noszvaj: Síkfőkút (DU60); Siófok (unreliable) (BS79). Oryzaephilus surinameiisis (Linnaeus, 1758) — Apátistvánfalva [5], 22.08.1993, TCs (1, SM). — It is a cosmopolitan pest of stored products. Psammoecus bipunctatus (Fabricius, 1792) — Bajánsenye, 23.08.1980, RI (1, pcIR); Őrimagyarósd, 19.04.1987, PA (1, SM); Szalafő, 18.04.1987, PA (1, SM); Szalafő: Felsőszer, 10.04.1982, RI (1, pcIR); Szőce, 01-02.05.1986, PA (1, SM); 17-19.04.1987, RI (1, pcIR). — Ground-dwelling, it is frequent in wet mead­ows. LAEMOPHLOEIDAE Placonotus testaceus (Fabricius, 1787) — Szőce [7], 13-15.11.1961, E-YS­KZ (4, HNHM). — It is frequent under loose bark in various forests of Hungary. Leptophloeus alternans (Erichson, 1845) — Máriaújfalu, 22.05.1983, PA (1, SM). — Associated with dry branches of conifer trees, it is very rare in Hun­gary. Further Hungarian localities (Fig. 7.): Cserépfalu (Hór-völgy) (DU61); Kalo­csa (CS45); Káld: Farkas-erdő (XN52); Siófok (unreliable) (BS79). Cryptolestes duplkatus (Waltl, 1839) — Viszák, 19.04.1987, Rí (1, pcIR). — It is not uncommon under bark all over Hungary. Cryptolestes spartii (Curtis, 1834) — Szőce, 01-02.05.1986, PA (1, SM). — It is uncommon in deciduous forests of Hungary. EROTYLIDAE Dacne bipustulata (Thunberg, 1781) — Hegyhátszentjakab: Vadása-tó, 23.05.1985, SzD (3, SM). — Associated with bracket fungi and mushrooms grow­ing on trees (e.g. Plewotus), it is common allover Hungary. Tritoma bipustulata Fabricius, 1775 — Farkasfa, 12.04.1982, PA (1, SM); Viszák, 19.04.1987, RI (1, pcIR). — Living in annual bracket fungi, it is the most common species of the family. Triplax lepida (Faldermann, 1835) — Szalafő: Borjas-erdő, 03.05.1985, RI (1, pcIR). — It is not uncommon in mushrooms, mainly in oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus spp.). 128
