According to LOPATIN (1984) Cryptocephalus concolor is another valid species occurs in Iran, Turkmenia and Azerbaidzhan, while those specimens wich were formerly described as Cryptocephalus concolor are Cryptocephalus duplicatus persicus RAPILLY, 1980.
